6 people were arrested for selling drugs to students in Chittoor and Tirupati

Chittoor: The Chittoor police arrested a gang of six members when the police conducted inspections on a tip-off that drugs were being sold to students. Two others are absconding. According to the police…The police suspect that a big drug mafia is running in the center of Chittoor.

Siraj from Chittoor was introduced to Omar staying in Bangalore. Omar brought drugs from Sudan and sold them in Bengaluru, as Siraj met Omar and came to Chittoor with drugs. In Chittoor, six more people were included in their gang. The police received information that drugs coming from Sudan were being sold to many engineering and Degree College students in Chittoor and Tirupati. A gang of 8 members were raided and only 6 were caught. Two others are absconding. Police seized MDMA drugs (34 grams) worth Rs.2 lakhs from them. Three cell phones, a weighing machine and syringes used to administer drugs were seized. Passport, international driving license and visa were seized from Ahmed Omar, who is a key accused in this case. Police said that special teams have been formed for those who are absconding.
