Free ration of rice till December-4 percent da hike for employees

Amaravati: The Central Cabinet has taken a key decision to extend the free ration allowance provided by the Center under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana for another 3 months. The Center has taken this decision in the context of the expiry of free ration on September 30. The lockdown due to Covid-19 brought about the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana scheme in March 2020. The scheme is due to expire in March this year. However, keeping in mind the economic conditions of the poor and the poor, it was extended till September 30. Recently, the central cabinet has taken a decision to extend it by another 3 months. Through this scheme more than 80 crore beneficiaries are given free 5 kg rice each.

DA increase of 4 percent:- In the background of the beginning of the festive season, the central government employees and pensioners have been given a sweet treat. The Cabinet has decided to increase the DA paid to the employees by 4 percent. With this increase, the number of employees will reach 38 percent. About 50 lakh employees and 62 lakh pensioners will be benefited. As per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the Center has increased the DA for employees by 3 percent in March this year.
