PM Modi announced that Chandigarh Airport will be named after Bhagat Singh

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself revealed in his Man Ki Baat speech that Chandigarh Airport will be named after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. Narendra Modi said that this decision was taken as a tribute to Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary. Climate change and the recent introduction of cheetahs to India were prominently mentioned. As Bhagat Singh’s birth anniversary is to be celebrated on September 28, it has been announced that Chandigarh Airport will be named after him as a tribute to the warrior. Climate change has become a major challenge for the coastal areas and the accumulation of garbage on the beaches is disturbing. It is suggested that we should all face such serious challenges together as our responsibility. He said that many people across the country have expressed happiness over the arrival of cheetahs in the country after a long time, and a decision will be taken as per the report given by the task force that is monitoring the cheetahs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to BJP ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary. People are advised to use locally made non-plastic bags during upcoming festivals. During the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, September 28 has been suggested as a special day on the occasion of Bhagat Singh Jayanti.
