ACB court verdict handing over Chandrababu to CID custody

The High Court dismissed the quash petition.
Amaravati: Chandrababu has faced a setback in the High Court.. On September 13, Chandrababu filed a quash petition in the High Court in the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking to dismiss the cases registered against him in the AP Skill Development case. The bench, which listened to the arguments of both the parties, and reserved its verdict even after the arguments were over, announced the verdict on Friday and dismissed the quash petition. Supreme Court senior advocates Siddhartha Luthra and Harish Salvelu argued on behalf of Chandrababu. Also Mukul Rohatgi argued on behalf of CID.. Chandrababu said that there is no need for remand, Luthra brought many cases before the court. However, the court seems to have considered the arguments of the CID lawyer.

ACB Court Custody:- The ACB Court has handed over former Chief Minister and TDP leader Nara Chandrababu to CID custody for two days (23rd and 24th), who was arrested in the illegal case of skill development. CID officials asked to hand over custody for 5 days but clarified that they are giving 2 days.

From 9.30 am to 5 pm…
The judge made it clear that Chandrababu’s trial time will be from 9.30 am to 5 pm, and the trial should be held in the presence of lawyers. The court warned the media not to divulge the details of the investigation. The court has issued orders that Chandrababu should take due care for his health and age and appear before the judge through video conference after the end of custody.
