Three army soldiers were killed in an encounter at Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir

Amaravati: Three army soldiers were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir police said. On receiving information that terrorists have been ambushed in the Halan forest area, the security forces along with the local police conducted a cordon search. Security forces noticed the terrorists opened fire and the staff retaliated. Three jawans were seriously injured in the firing by the terrorists and were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Army said they died while undergoing treatment. Officials claimed that the terrorists took four AK-47 rifles in the hands of the deceased personnel, and the search is on for them. It was revealed that the encounter started when the terrorists opened fire on the army officials on Friday.
